SUAVEART will be present at the Miss Read: The Berlin Art Book Fair & Festival next week from 11 to 13 October, presenting the art project books and artist books from Taiwan. The fair takes place at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), one of the most notable cultural centres in Germany.
SUAVEART will be presenting a special publication, created from 2023, titled Working in Progress: Reimagine the Identity of Urban Spectrum, featuring the research project about Indonesian-Chinese architect Herianto Sulindro who worked for city of Zurich for 30 years.
Texts in the publication use a contemporary and diaspora gaze to look at the relationship between urban, nature and home, while also reflecting on questions of belonging. The publication is edited by Yipei Lee, Sharo Liang, Linda Lochmann-Sulindro, Arne Schmitt and designed by Connie Huang and Kiki Hsu.
In addition to SUAVEART, Sharo Liang, Chuan Lun Wu, Linette Lin and Jill Zheng’s artist books as well as Shishishi will be available at the fair.
