SUAVEART, a research-based curatorial institution, focuses on environmental, nonhuman perspectives, and nonplace issues within island contexts, exploring the intersection of art and life. Since 2008, our focus has been on Southeast Asian regional contemporary art. Established in Taiwan in 2015, we facilitate experimental cultural exchanges and interdisciplinary collaborations. The curated project footprints are among Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Germany, Switzerland, and others.

Role Description
We are looking to hire a short term Assistant in October 2024 – working for 4 days . The salary will be €120 /per day (pre-tax)

This an entry level position and the potential candidate must have a keen interest to learn more about the arts market sector. The candidate should have a background in Arts and contemporary visual arts through either academic or personal experience. The candidate should speak Spanish fluently, and must be highly organized, have strong administrative skills, proficient in using Google Drive, Adobe illustrator and social media platforms with a high aptitude for writing.

As Assistant, the potential candidate will be working closely with the curator and artists on translating the project content on social media, SUAVEART website and newsletter, as well as supporting on-site activites for SUAVEART programmes.

Main Responsibilities
* Writing social media posts and captions and updating the social media pages (Instagram).
* Promoting exhibition, and event from SUAVEART in Spain.
* Creating graphic and visual content for dissemination on social media pages on Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
* Assisting on-site communication and translation.
